BHYC CRUISING 2012
Welcome to BHYC Cruising!
Each summer, we conduct four cruises of varying lengths along the coast of Maine and occasionally to Canada and as well as points south. The cruising fleet is made up of sail and power vessels of various sizes and the itineraries are designed to provide something for everyone during the course of the summer.
While the full cruising itineraries are shown, some members join the cruise in sections either because of time or because they desire to visit a particular location. It is not uncommon to have a vessel start out with the fleet, leave for a few days and then rejoin us.
We also encourage those without a vessel to join the fleet at those locations where we have dinner ashore. The coast of Maine has many interesting B&B’s and inns where one can stay and thus the range of opportunities can be greatly expanded for getting together with the fleet. This also applies to those with boats that are not set up for overnights – arrive by boat and spend the night at an inn and join us for dinner. Just be sure to sign up for the dinner when the cruise sheets are posted so that we can include you in our reservations.
