BOOTHBAY HARBOR YACHT CLUB
Located on the west side of Boothbay Harbor in Maine, the Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club offers a protected and accessible waterfront location ideal for boaters. The club also offers many activities for non boaters including tennis, lectures, training programs, social activities and golf outings. The club sponsors many social events throughout the summer and partners with other clubs in the area for other events.
We are a 501(C)(7) non profit organization with 275 members committed to the greater Boothbay community. The club has an active junior program designed to promote amateur sailing and competitive tennis skills in children. Our focus is on providing a comprehensive social environment for our members in addition to providing the resources to develop boating, sailing and sports related skills. Programs are offered for all levels of boaters and sailors.
Our location on the water offers a panoramic view of the harbor and the boats that utilize it. We have an extensive mooring field and offer full time tender service in the summer months. A large number of rental moorings are available to visiting yachtsmen. We also offer a full service waterfront dining facility with professional chef and staff.
Information about the club's activities is regularly posted in the Boothbay Register and in the Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club blog. We also have a quarterly Newsletter which can be found on the Members' Page.
The Decommissioning Ceremony was held on Sunday, September 11, 2011, marking the official end of the BHYC 2011 season.
