Junior Program Foundation
The Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club Junior Program Foundation provides grants for scholarships and equipment to ensure the youth of the Boothbay Region have access to participation in BHYC Junior Program activities, including sailing and tennis instruction.
Since the Foundation's establishment in 2008, some of the benefits to the community include:

Thousands of dollars in scholarships each year for the sailing, tennis, and golf programs. Since its inception in 2008, every scholarship has been awarded to children in the Boothbay Region who are not affiliated with the Yacht Club membership, making the Junior Program truly a community-wide effort.

Sponsoring the Boothbay Region High School Sailing Team since 2012.

16 new Optis, a boat trailer, a ping pong table for those inevitable rainy days, and “Quick Start” beginner tennis equipment.

10 new 420s launched in 2014.
