Membership APPLICATIOn and fees

The Membership Process
- We have several categories of membership, including Individual, Family, "Under 40", and Senior Memberships. Find the one that is right for you below. The General Manager can also answer any questions you have about the Club or the membership application process and put you in touch with the Membership Committee.
  
  Do you know members already? Each potential member must have two members from the Club sponsor and co-sponsor their application. If you don't know any current BHYC members, we offer a "Self-Directed" option. We look forward to meeting you! The Membership Chairs can help with introductions.

New Member Incentives
- 2023 MEMBERSHIP INCENTIVES
  
  Late Season Incentive - New members who finalize their BHYC membership after the first of September 2023 will pay initiation fee only. Their 2023 dues will be waived as well as any mandatory dining credits for the season. New members will, therefore, be able to complete all their paperwork this year and be able to enjoy all the benefits of membership immediately.

Membership Categories

  Individual Membership
  
  Individual Membership is available for adults over 21. Single Parents age 21 or older with dependent children that will not have Club privileges also can qualify as Individual Members. Individual Members under age 40 benefit from 40% reduced dues and initiation fee.
  
  Family Membership
  
  Family membership is available for couples (married or in a committed relationship) where either individual is over 21. Single parents age 21 or older with dependent children under age 25 who have Club privileges also qualify as Family Members. Couples with both individuals under 40 benefit from 40% reduced dues and initiation fee.
  
  Senior Membership
  
  A member may request to transition to our Senior Membership category provided his or her age and the number of years as a member total 100, with a minimum age of 75. Qualifying Senior Members benefit from 35% reduced dues.
