The BHYC Dining Room is closed for the winter season.
It will re-open on June 4, 2024.

Dining & Social at the Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club

The heart of BHYC is in the camaraderie and activity of members in the clubhouse.  Members and their guests can enjoy lunch or dinner in the dining room or bar, or join friends for a post-sailing round.  Special events can be found every week throughout the season: the dock party, prime rib night, family nights, special musical guests, wine tastings, the author and speaker series, and more.

The Dining Room

Members and their guests are invited to join us for lunch or dinner.  Our chef regularly offers special event dinners, stop by or check the calendar for the latest news.  The Chef's menus change with the season, based on fresh and local ingredients and reflecting the tastes of summer in Boothbay Harbor.  Reservations for lunch or dinner are kindly requested.  Please call the hostess desk at 207-633-5750 after 10:00 AM (except Saturdays and Mondays) or click the button below to make your dining reservations.  Members can order takeout food via email by clicking the link below. Cut-off time for take-out orders is 11 AM for lunch and 5 PM for dinner. Please specify your desired pick-up time.

Renting an overnight mooring at BHYC?   You can join us for dinner, as well.  Check in with the front desk to make your reservations.

  • Customs and Attire
    • Every evening at sunset the national ensign will be lowered by the stewards. All persons within and near the clubhouse shall, out of respect, rise to attention and maintain silence until a Club official gives the all clear.  A cannon salute will be fired to signal the lowering of the colors.

Casual dress is acceptable for lunch and Sunday brunch.  Yacht club casual dress is requested for evening dinner (collared shirts and long pants for men; complementary attire for women).  Men are requested to wear jackets on Saturday evening with ties optional.  Saturday special events require jackets unless posted as casual.  The bar and waterfront are always available for informal dining except for special events.

Proper attire, including shirts and footwear, must be worn when inside the Clubhouse.  Men shall not wear hats or caps in the Clubhouse, except during designated special events.

There is no smoking within any building structure or on the premises of the Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club at any time.

Please refrain from using your cellular phone in the dining room or bar.

In accordance with the provisions of the Club's liquor license, only alcoholic beverage purchased from the Club bar may be consumed on the premises.  The outside deck, floats and entry deck, as well as the Sailing & Education Center and tennis courts are all considered part of the clubhouse premises under this license.

If you leave a message about a reservation for an event, a Hostess will call back after a request is received to confirm the reservation date and time.  No reservation is complete without a confirming call if you have left a message.

All cars should be parked in marked areas and in a manner that makes the best utilization of the limited space available.  Overnight parking, and parking for a period of several days, is permitted only in the lot across the road from the clubhouse; check in at the Office for an overnight parking permit.  Overnight parking is not permitted in the grass lot across the street from the clubhouse.  Restricted parking areas are to be observed.
